Na Baek-jin instantly figured out that Baku relied purely on brute strength and didn't use his brain in combat. He completely overpowered Baku without taking a single scratch, coldly tossing out the line, "What is this, some kind of beast?" It was a chilling moment that perfectly showcased his absolute dominance and kept readers on the edge of their seats throughout the series.
3. A Well-Structured Power Balance
Another massive strength of this webtoon is its incredibly well-thought-out power scaling. Despite introducing a vast cast of characters over its long run, you can clearly feel the author's meticulous effort in balancing their combat tiers. Whenever different characters clashed, the outcomes of their fights were always logical and completely convincing. This carefully maintained balance prevents the story from becoming absurd and keeps the narrative grounded.
4. A Disappointing and Forced Ending
To be completely transparent, the conclusion of the series leaves a lot to be desired. Without getting into spoiler territory, many readers felt that the ending suffered from forced plot developments. It is quite a shame that a series which maintained such brilliant tactical writing throughout its run ended on a note that felt somewhat unnatural and unresolved.
